Father's Day Car Festival

What could be better than a Father's Day outing that involves food, fun, and cars? BCC will be hosting Dad's Day Car Festival right here on the Hope Park campus on Sunday, June 17. Kids, bring your dads, and dads, bring your kids out to the BCC parking lot right after the 11am service. We'll have free burgers and hot dogs, live music, and of course, lots of antique and classic cars for the whole family to enjoy. Admission is free.

I know I'm late to the party here, but I'm just catching up on my RSS feeds.

1 - Cool idea. A local Baptist church does this each year, but I can never go because I'm a member of another church (:-D) and father's day is always dance recital for my girls.

2 - With a cool idea, surely you could have come up with a better car for the logo than a Mustang II. I mean, come on, this is not much more than a gussied up Pinto. This is not a car dreams are made of. I happen to like them, but I'd be in a serious minority of car guys.

Next time, how about a '57 Chevy, a big fin Caddy, a fat fendered '37 Ford Street Rod, a 427 Cobra or maybe a T'bird? :-D

Hope it was a good event. Any pictures anywhere?
